Tessa Harper, an insecure woman, is framed by her sister Nina into drugging her husband, Andrew Beckett. Their encounter leads to Andrew's leg injury, after which Tessa is exiled to his countryside estate. In despair, her body is possessed by the soul of an ancient healer. After transforming herself, she survives using her medical skills and gives birth to quintuplets. Five years later, the children meet their searching father, Andrew, and are taken to his home. To protect them, Tessa goes undercover as cleaner "Tess" in his household. Andrew grows fond of the children and Tess, while noticing puzzling clues about her true identity. Nina's schemes inadvertently deepen his bond with Tessa. After several crises and with the children's help, Tessa confesses everything. The family reconciles, with Tessa vowing to heal Andrew's legs, uniting all seven at last.
